The Birthday Club is a one-of-a-kind annual portrait experience is designed for ages 1 to 16. Each year during their birthday month, your child gets to be front and center (no siblings, no distractions) in a session focused building their confidence and capturing lasting memories. 

Every portrait highlights what makes your child shine at this age: their personality, style, interests, and that unique sparkle only they have. Whether they show up in a superhero costume, a sparkly dress, a sport uniform, or their favorite everyday outfit, the Birthday Club is all about helping your child feel confident, seen, and celebrated exactly as they are. 

How the Birthday Club Works

• One-time membership fee: $295 (includes your child's first session)
• Annual birthday session fee: $18 each year after

This is an annual membership! Once you join, your child gets a VIP birthday session every year at the exclusive membership rate. 

Included in Your Session

• Two outfits (think dressy, casual, creative, or costumes). One is typically chosen by you, and the other is picked entirely by your child.

• Props are encouraged. Bring anything meaningful such as musical instruments, tiaras, sports gear, stuffed animals, toys, birthday balloons, or even a smash cake.

• Creative freedom is a big part of the experience. Your child will help lead the session with fun poses, playful expressions, and plenty of time to be themselves.

Session Details
Weekday sessions are available exclusively at our St. Paul studio and include:  

• A $200 product credit toward custom wall art, heirloom albums, or a portrait box for your first session

• Specialty birthday pricing on products each year

• A complimentary birthday annual gift print  

• VIP treatment from start to finish

How to Join 

1. Schedule your session date and time 

2. Pay your one-time $295 membership fee (includes first session)

3. Each following year, pay just $18 for your child's annual session

4. Book any needed haircuts 

5. Prepare outfits and props

6. Arrive on time since sessions are booked back to back

After the Portraits
Right after the session, you and your child will choose your favorite images for printed artwork such as framed portraits, an heirloom album, a custom portrait box, or gift prints.

Professional retouching includes minor enhancements like glare removal, blemish cleanup, and flyaway correction. We do not remove scars or moles, preserving your child’s authentic features. Digital files are included with each ordered portrait.

A Note on the Experience
To give your child the focused attention they deserve, we ask that only the birthday child and guardians attend the session. No siblings or additional family members.

Many families choose to make it a full birthday outing. Nearby favorite spots include Minnesota Children’s Museum, Candyland, the Science Museum, Red Balloon Bookshop, Grand Ole Creamery, and Can Can Wonderland.
